Happy International Cat Day!

What better way to celebrate than by announcing the completion of TNR for the St. Monica colony! 🎉

This colony has an incredibly compassionate caretaker who has worked hard to make sure these cats are safe and healthy!

In total PCF TNR’d 12 cats, removed 1 injured kitten who needed extra care, and with the help of Alley Cat Advocates, we were able to get a fella with a severe tail break and open wound the treatment he desperately needed, a tail amputation.

That’s 14 cats whose lives are better because someone cared enough to help.

Happy International Cat Day from Pallet Cat Foundation!

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers! Every cat we’ve helped is because someone gave a little of their time (or a lot). ♥️ ♥️ ♥️

A few hours each month can change a cat’s life. 🐾

Pallet Cat Foundation is looking for more volunteers to help community cats!

We’re looking for people to:
🚗 Transport cats to and from spay/neuter appointments one evening a month
🐈‍⬛ Learn to be a TNR trapper 1–2 days a month (no experience needed, we’ll train you)!
🏡 Foster community kittens until they’re ready for adoption

Interested? Send us a message! We’d love to have you on the team.

This kitty looked at our live trap and said, “Nice try.”

So we brought out the drop trap.

Did you know? Keeping kittens bonded—even into adulthood—can lower stress, boost confidence, and help them develop healthier behaviors throughout life. 🐾

Over time, deeply bonded cats often sleep together, groom one another, and even mirror each other’s moods—proof that those early connections last.

Willa was found with a severely injured leg and abandoned at a known cat colony. Pallet Cat Foundation took her to our amazing TNR partner, Alley Cat Advocates. Not only do they spay and neuter, but provide life saving and life changing medical care when needed.
Please donate to our medical fund, by Venmo: and writing “Willa” in the note. If we exceed our goal of 500.00, all donations will go to Alley Cat Advocates so they can provide the same care to other cats.

PCF RECORD BREAKING UPDATE

June: 75 cats fixed a new high for us.
This week: 17 more community cats transported to Alley Cat Advocates for spay/neuter and vet care. The most we’ve transported at once!

The math is crazy! Those 17 cats alone are estimated to prevent 80–100 kittens from being born into these colonies over the next 12 months. Fewer cats, less suffering,

Some caretakers cover the full $25 per cat cost themselves. Others need our help. That's where you come in.

Our June Sponsor a Spay campaign made 75 cats possible! Donor dollars go directly to making spay, neuter and vet care accessible to caretakers who can't afford the full cost ensuring no cat is left behind simply because of finances.

Every $25 = one cat spayed/neutered + vetted.
Every dollar = 100% to TNR.

We couldn't break records without our community. Caretakers, Volunteers, AND donors alike. Thank you for being part of this team.

We also could not break records without ACA! Alley Cat Advocates are a collaborative partner in our effort to provide life changing TNR and medical care to our county community kitties and surrounding areas. They are an exceptional nonprofit, doing the real work for 25.00 a cat, we thank them and appreciate their partnership.

Together, we're creating a smaller, healthier cat population in Nelson and surrounding counties. One cat, one dollar, one caretaker at a time.
