What a summer it was! We were so incredibly blessed to call Knox County home for the summer. The people, businesses, and community welcomed us with open arms, and it was so difficult to say goodbye. As we say "see ya later" to Appalachia, here are some updates about what is next for each of us.

Grace will be returning to school at Belmont University in Nashville, where she's studying songwriting and plans to go to many concerts.

Carson will be finishing her last year at UNC Chapel Hill and graduating in the Spring. She will be studying Political Science and Sport Administration while cheering on her Tar Heels!

Alex will be living in San Diego this semester as he works on a computer science internship, prior to returning to George Mason University in the Spring.

Brandon starts band camp at the University of Alabama in just over a week, where he will be playing bass drum for the Million Dollar Band. He will be continuing to pursue a communication studies degree while saying Roll Tide through it all!

Thank you so much to each and every one of the volunteers who were able to Be the Peace in Knox this summer. Comment below with your favorite ASP memories this year! We continue to pray that God grants blessings on your lives, just as you did for so many of of our home owners.

Though our time at Cheetah Girls was brief, a lot of great work was completed here! Crews were busy on the roof installing SBS coverings across the entirety of the structure. Stair railings were added out back, and many repairs on walls/floors in leaky spots were made. Thank you to the crews who braved the heat up at Cheetah Girls!

Check out the transformation at Hatching Pete! We installed floor coverings in the kitchen and the kid's bedroom. We painted the kitchen, bedroom, and nursery, along with some drywall patches. In order to close in the nursery we installed studs and drywall to transform the dining room, and installed a door in the hallway as the new entry. A new toilet was installed in the bathroom and the shower was sealed. We also installed steps off the back porch. Thank you to all of the crews who helped us finish this project prior to the homeowner bringing home a new baby girl!

Here at Cowbelles, we did subfloor repair in the living room and kitchen. Crews then added floor coverings and trim. We did fascia and soffit and then installed a gutter and drainage ditch. The porch roof was redone to provide a dry front entrance. We finished by painting the whole outside!

Warmer. Safer. Drier. Each and every volunteer at High school musical worked on each and every one of these standards this summer. A shed roof overlay was completed along with underpinning around the trailer. In the kitchen we did floor system repair, all new subfloor, and vinyl coverings. There was also stud repair in the walls and drywall added all throughout the kitchen. The bathroom was also completely renovated. All appliances were taken out and replaced with new ones. New drywall, subfloor and coverings were installed and the walls were painted. Stairs were built for the back porch and a drainage ditch was dug in the front yard that led into the creek. Plumbing was subcontracted to change the galvanized pipes to PEX which helped with the water pressure and temperature. New doors were installed in the front and back and a new for the hall was installed. We also installed both a bathroom and bedroom door.

Throughout the weeks at Starstruck we created an overhang along the front and back of the mobile home in order to seal tight the sides of the home. We repaired the drywall in the living room and did stud repair around the windows. Vinyl plank flooring was added in the kitchen and living room. We were also able to do some subfloor repair.

Check out the transformation at Jump In this summer! We completed new floor systems and coverings in the living room and all bedrooms of the home. All three of the bedrooms were painted and the living room as well. Floor coverings were installed over the existing subfloor in the kitchen. A drainage ditch was dug along the back of the home and stairs were installed on the front porch.We hope you had a blast if you came to call this place home!

What a summer at Lemonade Mouth! Floor coverings were installed in the kitchen and through the back door entryway. A 5x7 porch was built off the front of the house and a 6x10 ramp was built off the back. There was also small band joist repair completed on the back of the home where the ramp was built. An SBS overlay was completed as well. Thanks to all the crews who joined us at Lemonade Mouth!

Hey look, It's Wnedy Wu! This summer We did subfloor repair in the dining room area and a bedroom, as well as some drywall and subfloor in bathroom. Crews installed underpinning and installed a back porch. We were able to install a door and a drainage ditch. lastly we repaired some paneling on the outside of the home. Thanks to everyone who made the trek up to Wendy Wu!
