🚙Dion Pickard JEEPIN In The Ville Memorial Jamboree🚙

Hey Barbourville! We’ve been getting a lot of questions about our upcoming JEEP Duck Parade on Saturday, September 20th at 7:30pm in Downtown Barbourville. So here’s a quick rundown on what it’s all about:
A JEEP Duck Parade is a fun, community-driven event where JEEP owners decorate their vehicles and participate in a parade, all while spreading cheer and connecting with fellow JEEP enthusiasts. The “duck” part comes from a fun tradition where JEEP owners leave rubber ducks on other JEEPs as a friendly gesture.
In our parade, you’ll see JEEPs of all shapes and adorned with lots of ducks! It’s a great way to showcase your JEEP, meet new people, and enjoy family-friendly event.

If you don’t have a JEEP, come on out to see the parade. Bring your own ducks to give to JEEP owners.

Parade route begins at Barbourville City Park⬆️ Johnson Lane ➡️College Street⬅️Manchester St ⬅️North Main Street ➡️Court Square ➡️Knox Street ⬅️Allison Ave ➡️Johnson Lane

Come out and enjoy the fun just before the fireworks - celebrating Union Commonwealth University’s Homecoming - at 10:00pm.

🇺🇸🌭 Hey Barbourville! 🌭🇺🇸
Give it up for four-time grand champion Michael Doolin — the man, the myth, the legend — who took home $300 at the 2025 Red, White, & Chew Hot Dog Eating Contest, proudly sponsored by Jeff Ketcham for Knox County Judge Executive!

Michael devoured 22 hot dogs to claim victory over fierce competition from across the tri-state area — including challengers from Tennessee, Ohio, and cities like Frankfort, Williamsburg, Corbin, Harlan, and of course, right here in Barbourville!

🎉 Let’s hear it for Michael and another epic win! 🎉
