We had a great week of camp with 35 teens from Cabell and Mingo Counties!

Some of the highlights of the week included a musical assembly from Marshall University Jazz Combo 1, a community service project making dog treats for a local nonprofit Jack and the Bean, and sweet treats from an ice cream truck during our camp party.

We had 8 first year campers receive a Lucky Penny with Hunter Childers and Elizabeth Lee being named Outstanding First Year Campers.

Aspen Pyles was recognized as the camper who grew the most during the week.

Happy Memorial Day from WVU 4-H!

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. As 4-H’ers, we are reminded of our pledge—“I pledge my heart to larger service”—and the importance of giving back to our communities in meaningful ways.

We are grateful for the sacrifices made for our freedom and the legacy of service they inspire. ❤️
