Be part of a statewide 4-H service project!

After the severe flooding earlier in the Summer, Lewis County's students need your help. Follow the link to the wishlist to help make sure no kid goes without food over weekends.

If you wish to buy an item off the list in-person, you can drop it off at the Extension Office. We will deliver donations to Jackson's Mill on September 25 to be packed by volunteers.

🎉 Something NEW is coming to Adult Homecoming Weekend! 🎉

This year, we’re setting aside dedicated time for a camp-wide service project.

We’ll be packing food bags for the Backpack Buddies program in Lewis County, which provides nonperishable food items to youth experiencing food insecurity throughout the region.

💚According to Mountaineer Food Bank, 1 in 5 children struggle with hunger in West Virginia.

But we need YOUR help to make a difference! 🥫🍎

The Cabell County Extension Office will be closed today, Friday, August 28. All staff will be out of the office.

Cabell County still has a couple slots left in the van for anyone still on the fence about attending this event!

It's going to be a lot of fun, and our teens will get to meet tons of peers from around Southern WV!

Cost is only $30 payable at the event by cash or check, or you can Venmo payment to the Mercer County 4-H Leaders (link in registration).

WVU Extension and the WVU Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources work with communities across West Virginia through research, education, and outreach. To ensure our programs address the state’s most important needs, we invite you to complete this statewide survey.

Identify priorities for WVU Extension and Davis College programs
Guide future research, education, and extension efforts
