Donations (items and $$) are needed for the Post to sell (no cloths please). Drop offs of donations and lot reservations can be done at the Post daily after 1:00 pm or call the Post (after 1 pm) at 304.733.0177.

Do you have an American flag that is worn, torn, or faded? The U.S. Flag Code states that when a flag is no longer fit for display, it should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning. Join us this Flag Day as we honor our nation's symbol with a respectful, solemn flag retirement ceremony. Date: Sunday, June 14, 2026 am 2:00 PM

Location: American Legion Post 177, Barboursville

Drop-Off Information: If you cannot attend but have a flag to retire, you can drop it off at the Post.

Everyone left with very full bellies and leftovers yesterday at the Post’s Memorial Day celebration! The rain did not stop us! Thanks to all that attended and helped!
