We are a year-round childcare center that offers care for students from 6-weeks through 12-years of age. Our School Age program at the Barboursville location has loved the STEM field trip that Dave and Busters has designed just for schools! We chose the program about health and finances. The children took their heart rate before and after playing active games to see what the difference was on different games. They also looked at the prizes and made a financial plan to see what games they need to play and how many tickets to win in order to get the prize that they liked.

Happy World Book Day! In our classrooms at RKA we love to do "Story Stretchers"! That simply means activities that pair with the story read in the classroom. We would love to share a few some of our teachers did recently. Grumpy Monkey goes well with our "Green Choices, Red Choices" for classroom behavior. The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly is easy to make a follow along from a tissue box. The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss is great to pair with an obstacle course. What book is your Childs favorite book?
