Barberton Area Community Ministries (BACM) was incorporated in 1997. BACM relies on the generosity of others for financial support and food donations. Partnering with us are individuals, civic organizations, churches and businesses. Our main goal is to assist low-income residents in the Barberton, Norton, Clinton, Doylestown and New Franklin communities with food and basic needs. A 5-day supply of
groceries is available to families twice per calendar month at our drive-thru service. The food pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-5pm. No appointment is necessary. Home delivery of groceries is available to homebound seniors age 65 & up. Seniors must meet financial guidelines and call by Tuesday at 5pm for delivery on Thursday. Delivery is available twice per month in Barberton, Norton, Clinton and New Franklin. Assistance is available from BACM in completing applications for HEAP (energy discount), SNAP (food assistance), school lunch program, living wills, and power of attorney. Representatives are available to help assist with veterans benefits, cell phone, medical insurance, and hearing impaired home phone.
