Barberton Kiwanis The Kiwanis Club of Barberton provides service to the Barberton community and schools. We are changing our community one child at a time. Barber statue

The Kiwanis Club of Barberton conducts a number of service projects, including:

Sponsor of the Barberton High School Key Club
Parenting Center at Decker School
Safety Grab Bar Installation Project
Three college scholarships to graduating BHS students
Luncheon for Barberton High Senior Scholars
Four annual luncheons for athletes
Started and continue the support of Safety Town
Provide hands-on help

for Decker Development Center activities
Maintain pool and pool building at camp Manatoc
Bell Ringing for Salvation Army
Recent creation and campaign funding of the O.C.

The first Tuesday of the month is our Board meeting facilitated by President, Kris Lackey.
Our Secretary, Leroy Martin keeps us in check with our minutes,
We are in good financial shape thanks to our Treasurer, Tom Gough.

We discussed upcoming fundraising and community service sponsorships. The Key Club and Builders Club are off for the summer but time flies and they’ll be back in school with a full agenda of activities and event.
