Rhubarb is amazing!

This group helped us by building some of the raised beds, that way Let's Grow Akron staff and neighborhood volunteers could place the built frames into place, and then fill and plant them. Working with local resources, within Summit County, helps us all grow!!!

We enjoy fresh berries too, in fact there is a well established strawberry bed at Van Buren Homes Community Garden.

Blackberries, red raspberries, and the first of the blueberries too. The blackberries are much more abundant, and I picked many more berries than this. Unfortunately, there weren't many ripe mulberries. 😮‍💨 I'll check those again tomorrow.
