The Catherine Van Erp Scholarship is available to students of Baraga County who are women entering the fields of mathematics, science, or engineering. This is a $4,000 scholarship award. The application deadline is Friday, April 10, 2026, and applications can be requested via email: [email protected]

The Ina McClintock Been Olof Been Scholarship is available to any Baraga County student with a GPA of 3.5 or higher entering a two to four year degree program in the discipline of Math or Physics. A one paragraph statement on why they wish to enter the field of Math or Physics is required, as well as critical financial need of scholarship support. This is a $6,000 scholarship award. The application deadline is Friday, April 10, 2026, and applications can be requested via email: [email protected]

As we closed out 2025, the BCCF Board of Directors held the year end Annual Meeting at the Hilltop Restaurant in January. Schools and organizations who received Grant Awards (and who were able to attend in blizzardy conditions) shared with us about their programs. Now we are sharing those programs with you. What a wonderful community.

C. J. Sullivan's 5th graders will finally be able to collaborate on projects and programs with the new tables they will have in their classroom, making things a little easier, and much more fun!

The Phoenix House has received a grant to provide services to youth in Baraga County leveraging technology to deliver professional counseling and overcoming the barriers of transportation. What a wonderful program!
