So proud to highlight our final amazing leader of the year 💙💛 Meet your 2025–2026 Baraboo FFA President!

“Hello! My name is Lilian Schell and I am currently serving as your 2025-2026 Baraboo FFA President.

I have been actively involved in FFA for 6 years! I have expressed my passion for leadership growth and agriculture through FFA by participating in events such as Day on the Hill, 8th Grade Career Day, Flapjacks For Farmers and Friends, and so much more! FFA has not only been a great experience for me to learn more about myself, but also to grow my skills and knowledge about agriculture.

During my 6 years in FFA, I have served on 2 officer teams, first as the 2024-2025 Treasurer and now ending my term as the 2025-2026 President. These last 2 years on the officer team have been incredibly impactful and a great way to connect with others. Along with this, I have competed in several competitions such as my LDE, Discussion Meet. I had the opportunity to compete at Sectionals, which was a great experience to continue improving my public speaking skills!

After graduating, I will be attending MATC this upcoming fall to earn my associates degree in Photography. Along with this, I will continue my job at Rustic Stories Photography / Sage Media, working as an assistant to grow my knowledge and experience as a photographer.

For all underclassmen and upcoming seniors, my advice to you is to never stop challenging yourself. Challenges will arise throughout high school and even after school, and it’s easy to be afraid of what’s next. Don’t be afraid to try new things and enjoy every moment you get, whether it’s in FFA, school, or new opportunities!

I would like to thank the Baraboo FFA for allowing me to experience the best 6 years through my time in this club. I wish the best of luck to the chapter and all of our members! Thank you for creating so many memories throughout the years that I will forever cherish! 💛💙”

So proud to highlight another amazing leader in our chapter 💙💛 Meet your 2025–2026 Baraboo FFA Reporter!

“Hi, my name is Jonathan Tapp. This year, I have been serving as your 2025-2026 Baraboo FFA Reporter.

I have been involved in FFA for two years, and in that short time, I’ve jumped into every opportunity available. I have competed in the Dairy Cattle Evaluation CDE and Employment Skills LDE for both years, as well as participating in Parliamentary Procedure for one year. These competitions challenged me to think on my feet and communicate effectively, skills I know I will carry with me long after I take off the blue jacket. Starting FFA later in high school pushed me to make the most of every moment, and these events helped me realize how much I enjoy fast-paced, hands-on environments.

My Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) is in Outdoor Recreation, where I work as a groundskeeper at Dell Pines Campground. I’ve always preferred being active and outdoors, and through this position, I developed a strong sense of technical problem-solving and facility maintenance. Learning how to manage large-scale outdoor environments and ensure a high-quality experience for visitors has given me a great foundation for my future career.

My favorite FFA memory by far was attending the 2025 Wisconsin FFA Convention. Being there with my team was an incredible experience; the energy of the sessions and the time we spent together outside of competing are things I’ll never forget. I’m going to miss the friendships and the constant push to grow that this chapter provides.

After graduation, I plan to pursue a career as a full-time Firefighter/EMT. To further my medical training, I will be attending Madison Area Technical College to pursue a degree in Nursing, with the ultimate goal of serving my community in the emergency medical field. My advice to underclassmen is to jump in headfirst—don’t wait for the “right time” to join a team, just do it.”

So proud to highlight another amazing member of our chapter 💙💛 Meet one of our dedicated Baraboo FFA members!

“Hi, my name is Jackob Albrecht and I am a current member of the Baraboo FFA Chapter.

I have been a member of FFA for 5 years. During this time, I have participated in many events such as the Fruit and Wreath Sales, Flapjack for Farmers, and I have been involved in the Agronomy CDE for the past 5 years. All of these events have taught me how to use my public speaking skills and knowledge of the topic to think on my feet.

My favorite FFA memory is winning the Agronomy CDE event. Over the years, my team studied really hard and we finally won. Through all of the practices, I learned how to become a better leader for my team.

After graduation, I will be attending the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the fall. There I will be studying Animal & Vet Biosciences. I aim to pursue a career as a veterinarian and eventually open my own practice.”
