Last night we were truly grateful to receive grant funding from Portage Area United Way to help us continue to provide critical home repairs to area residents.

Their support has made a difference for a long time! PAUW grants received way back in 1994 and 1995 helped our local chapter build our very first house in Portage AND provide repairs to area homes!

Thank you so much PAUW!!! Portage is truly fortunate to have these wonderful members whose work makes such a difference in our community!

This morning our repair crew dodged the raindrops to secure a loose handrail and some loose boards at River Haven Shelter - Portage, WI. We'd like to thank Bliffert for helping us secure supplies for this pop-up repair!

𝟓𝟎 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬! Yes, you read that right. Yesterday fifty youth volunteers joined us in service on their mission trip, and they worked exceptionally hard despite the heat & humidity. They also brought such a positive attitude; we had a great time working with them!

We are so grateful to the young men from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for all they did to help: sorting, organizing, pricing, painting, and "de"constructing at our Baraboo Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area ReStore.

The aesthetician and her daughter are moving from Sauk City to Pardeeville after she and other volunteers build the Homeownership Program house.

Thanks to a break in our schedule, we delivered and installed 8 free AC units between Portage, Reedsburg and La Valle today! We worked with Light Your World Ministries and Aging & Disability Resource Center of Columbia County to identify families in need of a little help to beat the summer heat.

Plus we installed two MORE units that were owned by residents unable to physically install them. Word gets around quick when Handyman Roy is in the building. ☺️
