Spirit Lake Arts Sauk County Art Association has rebranded, taking inspiration from the Baraboo area. SCAA members ch Art annual exhibition to celebrate Earth Day

The Spirit Lake Arts supports and promotes the arts in the following ways"

*Annual Fine Art and Fine Crafts Festival held on the Sauk County Courthouse Square in downtown Baraboo, WI

*Annual scholarship to a continuing art student at the University of Wisconsin -
Baraboo/Sauk County

*Annual grants of $600.00 each to two county high school art departments on a rotating basis (there are five high

schools in Sauk County)

*Annual themed member exhibit and sale (plus membership drive)

*Annual recognition dinner for members and volunteers

*Over the years, the SCAA now Spirit Lake Arts, has purchased a major art collection on display in the Sauk County Courthouse in Baraboo, WI

We are TWO days away from our first concert of the season!

Join us this Thursday at 7PM for a local favorite, the Community Concert Band! We cannot wait to be back on The Square with all of you!

For this concert only, the rain location will be at the Baraboo High School gymnasium if needed. As of right now it seems the weather will be perfect, but we will update our page if we need to move indoors.

Let's kick off the 2026 Baraboo Concerts on the Square series together!

Many artists and cultural organizations don’t just need funding.

They need sustained visibility, documentation, connection, context, and meaningful attention.
So we’re beginning to experiment with something new.

“Attention Grants” are a new initiative from GreatLakes.art designed to support artists, cultural organizations, conservation groups, and creative projects through:
• featured interviews
• homepage placement
• social media amplification
• editorial storytelling
• backlinks & online visibility
• regional discovery tools

The broader goal is to help build stronger online infrastructure for arts, culture, and conservation across the Great Lakes region.

Applications are now open. Link in bio.
Selections will be made on a rolling basis.

A small $5 application fee helps sustain the ecosystem and signals intentional participation. Fee waivers are available if needed.

Joe Clark - Raku potter, Double Iris Studio and John/Trudie Hechel - Wood, Round Barn Woodcrafts bring their beautifully crafted work to The 61st ArtJune Art Fair, Saturday, June 20th on the Courthouse Lawn in Downtown Baraboo, Wisconsin The fair runs from 9 am to 4 pm. Music will fill the air all day long, Children's activites presented by the Baraboo Children's Museum. Food trucks will offer a variety of different choices of food. It’s a beautiful summer’s day… you’re sipping on an iced beverage on the beautiful Downtown Baraboo square, surrounded by incredible artists and their fantastical works. The clock tower strikes 10 and suddenly the soothing sounds of the harp fill the air. You’re drawn in… you follow the sound and find yourself at the ArtJune stage in front of the lovely Shari Sarazin as she brings the sounds of fine art to life.

It is our pleasure to welcome Shari Sarazin ~ Folk Harp & Song & Story Weaving to the 2026 ArtJune Stage!

Award Winning folk harper, vocalist & story weaver, Shari Sarazin, offers her listeners a heartwarming experience….
From ancient Celtic melodies to contemporary love ballads, along with creatively spun originals ~ Shari's music will delight, intrigue, soothe, and bring you to joyful tears. Her over thirty years of musical experience brings with it an abundant repertoire that has been nurtured and molded to bring her listeners close at heart. The heavenly strains of the folk harp along with Shari's inspiring vocals will at times allow you to peer into the depths of her soul!

Shari's magical music of antiquity has been brought to you by our friends at Baraboo Antique Mall. Located in the former Baraboo Surplus store, Rebecca and her team have transformed the building into a lovely shop of curiosities and wonders. Be sure to drop in and thank them for their support, and check out all the treasures they have in store!

Jeff Nap - Potter and Jim Thompson - Wood, Jim's Cribbage Boards. Will be showing and selling their work at Spirit Lake Arts, ArtJune Art Fair on Saturday, June 20 on the Courthouse Lawn in Downtown Baraboo, Wisconsin. The fair is now in it's 61st year and will feature art/craft/food trucks/kid's activities/chalk artists. Join us in this intimate setting featuring local artists and artisans.

Returning to the ArtJune Stage to start our day with the soothing sounds of Summer on the Square is none other than Kurt Funfsinn Music!

Kurt Funfsinn is a Wisconsin-based folk musician known for his heartfelt vocals, intricate guitar work, and soulful harmonica playing. Kurt has an easygoing acoustic style that connects with audiences of all ages.

Kurt did such an amazing job in setting the mood last year that we couldn’t think of a better way to ! Kurt’s soulful performance has been brought to you by downtown Baraboo’s powerhouse of your morning routine, Powerline Coffee Company! What a perfect mashup! Be sure to drop in and thank them for helping to bring the art of music to beautiful Baraboo!

We would also like to thank our friends at Downtown Baraboo for yet again providing us with their support by sponsoring the ArtJune Stage with their kind donation of shade and shelter under their canopy. It’s friends like these that help to make ArtJune an experience like none other!
