Lit garden tip. It’s time to bring in your amaryllis! Put them in your garage or in dark area where it will receive zero water. They do what they want to do but by bringing them in now they might bloom by the holidays!!

**Wendy’s Friendly Gardening Tip for Iris Care:**

Hey there, fellow garden enthusiast! If you want your Iris plants to stay vibrant and healthy, a little TLC goes a long way—especially as the seasons shift. August is the perfect time to divide your Iris plants! When you’re doing this, make sure to snip away any diseased rhizomes. And discard the shriveled mother plant. Don’t plant too deep. Crown should still be showing above ground. This will give your plants a great boost and help them thrive beautifully in the future. Happy gardening!

My Foxgloves are in full bloom! I planted these from seed last year with our Banner Elk Garden Club ladies! We had a wonderful time planting different seeds in our milk jugs & socializing. It’s beautiful to see things bloom from your own seeds!🌸
