5:44PM Change: **Boil Water Notice for portions of District that lost pressure on 3/10/26*

We have received the following guidance from Washington County:
If your home did not lose pressure on 3/10/26, at your discretion you may discontinue the precautionary water boil. Losing pressure would be either a complete loss of water or an air-filled line, which results in sputtering and popping when you turn on a faucet.
The streets and homes we have positively identified as having lost pressure are: NW Satellite Dr., NW Star St., NW Planet Ct., NW Tranquility Dr., 45683 NW Hartwick Rd. and 45691 NW Hartwick Rd.
Homes on these streets should continue to boil water until we receive a clean coliform test.

3/12/26 UPDATE:
**CONTINUED**Boil Water Notice for entire Star Satellite Water District**
We just received notice that 2 of the water samples from the site of the line break did test positive for Coliform. This is not the dangerous kind of bacteria, but does let us know that bacteria was able to access our line through the break.
Please continue to follow the precautionary boil water notice.
The District is now setting up for a district-wide chlorination.
I will send out notification prior to the chlorination beginning.

Possible District Wide Water Outage 3/10/26

Shortly before 10:00am this morning, a contractor at the end of Star Street accidentally cut through a waterline. If you currently have no water, please be advised that the district is aware of this and we are working to repair this as soon as possible. I will send another update when we have an ETA on the repair.

Water Chlorination Notification

The District will chlorinate its water this Friday, September 26th at approximately 3:00 PM. You may notice a chlorine smell in the water for three to four days thereafter.

This is a temporary, routine procedure to rid the system of any potential, organic growths, etc.
