For more than 27 years, the Bangor Area School District Educational Foundation has played a critical role in enhancing educational opportunities and enriching the lives of local students. Thanks to donors like you, the Foundation has helped shape the future of countless young people by funding scholarships, teacher grants, special programs, and enrichment opportunities that would not be possible otherwise.
Your Donation Makes an Impact
More than 370 graduates have received scholarships to help pursue higher education because of donations like yours.
Over 250 students have experienced unique, hands-on learning programs, such as a dissection of a synthetic cadaver, thanks to your support.
More than 10 teacher enrichment grants have been awarded to innovative classroom projects, allowing educators to go beyond the textbook and inspire their students.

About the Bangor Area School District Educational Foundation
Founded in the Spring of 1997, the Bangor Area School District Educational Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Foundation’s mission is:
To support learning for children and adults within the Bangor Area School District by funding educational activities, community events, student scholarships, teacher grant projects, and academic awards.
To encourage a lifelong thirst for knowledge, self-improvement, and wisdom in all students.
To make a positive difference in the quality of life for everyone in the Bangor Area School District.
Over the years, the Foundation has awarded over $600,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors and more than $10,000 in teacher grants. These scholarships and grants have supported both academic excellence and the personal growth of our students and educators.
