What a perfect Jack O’ Lantern Jubilee celebrating Lights On Afterschool with our Club members and their families!!💡🎃

We wouldn’t be where we are today without the members who show up every day or the parents who trust us with their kids. We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who make our Club so special and show our appreciation through evenings like these!

Full bellies, beautifully carved pumpkins, and pumpkin seeds to bake at home makes the perfect recipe for a fall evening together.🍁🧡

Our lights are always on afterschool.💡💙

A big thank you to Maine Savings, North Star Lodge #22 and our wonderful Board Member Laura, for donating our amazing pumpkins tonight! 🎃

We had the absolute BEST field trip tonight with the 21st Century teens!!! What an awesome UMaine Hockey game, and an even better win for the Black Bears!!🏒🥅⛸️

On the way to the game one of our 7th graders said, “I don’t plan on going to college.” When leaving the game, he said, “I think I changed my mind. I’m definitely going to college.”

Because it’s never just about school. It’s about building connections, creating memories, exploring new experiences, and helping our teens see possibilities they may not have considered before. So grateful we could give them a taste of that tonight!

I think we have some future Black Bears on our hands!!🐻💙

If YOU are interested in volunteering, whether it’s as a consistent mentor or offering a helping hand at an event or project, please reach out to Hannah Joy at [email protected] and we will find your place at Club together! 💙
