Comfort items like homemade blankets, quilts, or socks can mean so much to patients & survivors while going through treatment and even afterwards as they recover. Please consider donating any items you may have — or creating them yourself!

Hey there 👋🏻

Pink Aroostook provides Survivor Bags to any newly diagnosed individual that comes to us. In these bags is an array of thoughtful quality of life items that provide education and comfort to those in need. Right now we have a need for:

homemade blankets, quilts, or socks.

If you or anyone you know has the ability to create and/or donate these items, we would greatly appreciate that.

Last weekend, we relaunched Pink Runway Project and shared a new vision for improving access to breast cancer care across Maine. 💗

After a year of listening to patients, survivors, providers, navigators, and advocates, we’re excited to launch three new initiatives: a Patient Access & Support Fund, SharedPath, and a long-term effort to strengthen specialty breast cancer care in Maine.

Most of all, we left feeling hopeful. Thank you to everyone who joined us and believes in a future where breast cancer care is easier to navigate and more accessible for Maine families.

Learn more and explore SharedPath at the link in our bio.

Special thanks to Jessica Fogg for sharing her story, our many wonderful volunteers, All Souls Church for graciously sharing their space with us, & for the absolutely gorgeous floral donations!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month – a time to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and recommit ourselves to progress. 💗

This month, we are proud to reintroduce the Pink Runway Project with a renewed mission:

💜 To support breast cancer patients across Northern Maine with access to the care and resources they need today.

💜 To work toward the long-term goal of establishing the region’s first accredited breast cancer center, so patients can receive world-class treatment closer to home.

Maine has one of the highest breast cancer incidence rates in the country, and patients in the northern half of our state often face the steepest barriers – long travel distances, limited access to specialists, and gaps in support.

The Pink Runway Project's revised mission was born out of our family’s experience and inspired by the legacy of Fran Branch, whose memory continues to guide us. Today, we stand committed to helping other families navigate this journey with dignity, compassion, and care.

✨ This October, we invite you to join us in turning awareness into action. Together, we can build hope for patients and families across Maine.
