Reminders for this week and the rest of summer. Take care of yourselves.
Today and tomorrow we are seeing heat indexes of over 100 degrees. Please remember that if you happen to be on SSRI medication, you are more sensitive to heat and at a higher risk of heat-related illnesses.
When heat is intense, try to stay inside/in shade as much as possible, hydrate well, and keep a very close eye on any symptoms that indicate heat-related illnesses.

Dizziness
Intense thirst
Excessive sweating
Rapid or weak pulse
Nausea and vomiting
Pale, cold, or clammy skin
Muscle cramps, fatigue
Headache
