Did you know September is self-care awareness month?

If you've taken one of our trainings, you know that we always encourage people to find time for themselves and practice good self-care. Self-care isn't just a way to get away from work or school; it's a vital part of looking for your own mental health.

Self-care has been proven to help reduce stress, improve your mood, and prevent burnout and overworking yourself. Self-care can also support our physical health as well, eating right, getting good sleep, and drinking plenty of water.

The best thing about self-care is that it's whatever you enjoy doing. Maybe you enjoy going out with family or friends, maybe you're in need of a day at the spa, or maybe you're happy just staying hope and starting that book you've been meaning to read.
