Friends of the Bangor Public Library Friends of the Bangor Public Library is a group dedicated to providing cultural enrichment and volunteer services to the Bangor Public Library.

The Friends of the Bangor Public Library are a group dedicated to promoting the Bangor Public Library in the community and raising money to support the Library. The Friends participate in community events and fund raise to provide supplies, equipment, shelving, and above all, BOOKS to the Bangor Public Library. Annual Friends' fundraising events typically include the Holiday and Summer House Tour

events, The Annual Duck Derby, Spring Used Book Sale, and Blue Valley Farm Show Used Book Sale. The Friends of the Bangor Public Library also coordinate "Brunch with the Author" events and support other events held by the Bangor Public Library. The Friends of the Bangor Public Library meet on the fourth THURDAY of each month at 7pm at the Bangor Public Library on South Main Street. Anyone interested in becoming a "Friend" is welcomed to attend! Membership applications can be obtained at the front desk of the Library. Dues are as follows:
Individual - $5
Senior - $3
Patron - $10
Sustaining - $25
