That's a wrap on the Soup and Chili Cook-Off!
We had 22 crock pots full of goodness! Unfortunately we were so busy, we don't have many pictures. Feel free to post them in the comments!

The meat raffles went over well as per usual. We even had a pie auction which was quite comical, thanks to our auctioneer, Tim Dearman 🥧

All and all it was a cold, but great day for UCS!

To all of our chefs and bakers, friends of UCS who are always there to help set-up/clean-up, and especially to The Vault Rockland for hosting us!

Today's the day!!
We told you we had a few new things up our sleeves to try this year! Besides all the soup and chili goodness and our amazing bake sale hosted by Tammy Anderson ...we will also have some meat raffles, a guess the candy jar, and a small PIE AUCTION!
The Auction will start at 12:30 with the famous Tim Dearman leading the show!
We have pies, cheesecakes, apple crisp and maybe a few more things!!!

Don't let the frigid temps keep you home! Stop on out to the Vault today and warm up with some great soups and chili for only $5.00!!!

Happy New Year from the UCS Family!

2025 was quite the year, and we have some exciting news to share… we have officially reached over $100,000 in donations to kids and families! 🎉

This incredible milestone would not be possible without the support of those who attend our events, purchase raffle tickets, donate auction items, bake goods, or make donations throughout the year. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

We’re excited to kick off 2026 with our Annual Soup & Chili Cook-Off, taking place on the 4th Saturday in January. Join us on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at The Vault! We’re trying out a couple of new things this year, so be sure to stop by and join the fun.

Thank you again for your continued support. We wish you and your families a happy, healthy, and successful 2026!

3, 2, 1.... Light 'em up! ✨

With just as many there to represent, the Christmas Tree is all decorated and the Gnomes are "Rockland around" all night until Christmas! 🎄

Us folks at UCS are all pretty creative and crafty in our own ways. And then there are some of us (Savanna) that get real proud of their arts and crafts and feel the need to show them off. These cute little fellas will be getting their debut later this week. ❄️

We are very excited once again to participate in the “Rockland around the Christmas Tree” event. Starting on Saturday and going through December, UCS will have a tree decorated in the Village Park for all to see. 🎄

So if you're not busy on Saturday December 6th @ 6pm, join a few of the UCS crew in the park for the annual tree lighting ceremony. 🎅🏻

We were a little remiss our post. We really need to give a big shout out to Melody Leis and Jim Mercer at The Vault and Spencer Temperly. They did all the planning for this event and we so greatly appreciate them.

We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude, though it may have come a bit overdue,
We absolutely can't overlook that our funding comes thanks to you! 🙏🏼

Thank you to all that attended UCS’ second annual UTV Ride back on October 18th. We added some new bars into the mix, the sun was shining bright, and we had an even bigger turn out this year with 54 riders total! 🌞

In the end after card fees, the two raffle items and the extra chances for a good poker hand we are so thankful to have raised another $1350 for UCS to assist kids! 🥳

So, thank you to anyone that attended the ride, thank you to all the bars for being such humbling and companionate establishments and thank you everyone else that continues to support UCS and our overall mission of assisting children.
Everything we do, is because of you 💚

The weather is changing, the leaves are changing 🍂
& UCS is changing.... Dates for the annual Soup & Chili cook off! 😜

We always say the USC Soup & chili cook off /bake sale is the LAST Saturday of January. However, January 2026 poses a bit of a conflict being there are 5 Saturdays. So we put our noggins together and came up with a solution.

🍲 UCS Soup & Chilli Cook Off plus Bake Sale will now be the FOURTH Saturday of January each year (which could technically still be the last of the month in the future) 🧁

So mark your calendars for January 24th 2026, your taste buds will thank you later 😋

Alright UCS Fam... time to mark your calendar for our next event. We are just weeks away from the newest fundraising event

UTV/ATV ride on October 18th 10am- 6pm
Event starts and ends at the The Vault Rockland, $20 a card with all sorts of new stops this year. We'll also have door prizes up for grabs and just an overall good time!

So whether you have an UTV, ATV, motorcycle or even a car, everyone is welcome to join! As usual, if you have any questions dont hesitate to reach out to Mel, Spencer or any of the family member for answers.

The sun was shining, the day was warm and the UCS crew assembled to show our school spirit!

Thank you to the Bangor School District for inviting us to join the homecoming parade, our slap bracelets were a BIG hit with the kids.
