Congratulations to these impressive Eastern Maine Community College students who placed in a national skills competion. Several have worked on this year's Habitat home build in Bangor. Our partnership with Eastern Maine Community College Building Construction and Fine Woodworking has been invaluble to our organization and the families who now have a safe and affordable place to call home!

Our skills team did great at nationals!

Carpentry placed 3rd
Cabinetmaking placed 7th
Automotive service tech placed 10th
Pin design placed 16th

They all did an amazing job! They represented our school and state very well!

Sierra will be our president next year and we look forward to another great year!

Grateful for the shout out during Heart of Maine United Way’s Week of Action and for our volunteers from Maine Savings! Together, through a home repair project, we were able to assist a senior homeowner which will allow them to safely remain at home.

The project assistance is part of the organization’s Week of Action, helping with projects such as accessible ramps for homes and outdoor gardening renovations, free of charge.

In March, Cars for Homes sold 1,857 donated vehicles, generating more than $2.3 million in gross revenue for local Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country. These donations make a huge impact on our ability to build homes and increase our critical home repair program. This is a great opportunity to showcase your organization and build meaningful connections at one of the region’s most well attended community events.
