Congratulations and THANK YOU to our friends at Maine Savings for their vision and investment in this historic building. It will used as a training center for their employees, meeting space for community groups and local events and will continue to host the Hampden Food Pantry. By bringing it back to life, this meetinghouse will continue to bring people together for many generations to come.

At Habitat, we hear from many folks who have become the caregiver in their family with aging parents. It is a big job that no one prepares you for.

Our region is fortunate to have some wonderful local resources to help guide you. Here is an opportunity to learn more. Thank you to our partners at Eastern Area Agency on Aging for hosting!

Our friends at WABI TV5 captured our mission beautifully! Many hands coming together on our current house build.

On this day alone we had volunteers from Bangor Savings Bank, All Souls Congregational Church and the R.H. Foster team hard at work. Let's to affordable housing in Bangor!

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor works in partnership with EMCC, whose trade program builds the two halves of the modular home.

CAUTION!! We have been made aware of an ongoing scam in which bad actors are fraudulently using Habitat for Humanity’s name and logo to offer free roofing or repair services. Ads are circulating on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. These scammers direct individuals to non-Habitat websites to apply, collecting personal information that may lead to identity theft, as well as risk to Habitat’s reputation.

If you have a home repair need, please contact our office or visit our website www.habitatbangor.org to learn more about our Critical Home Repair and Aging in Place program.
