📣Join the Christine B. Foundation on October 27 at The Woodlawn Barn in Ellsworth for an evening of local chef-curated meals, meaningful connection, and an introduction to cancer support in and around Hancock County.

🍽 We’re bringing the mission directly to your table. You’ll be welcomed at a reception, followed by a chef-presented four-course dinner, with each course inspired by the medically tailored meals and nutrition support CBF provides to cancer patients.

♥ You’ll also hear a patient story and learn how Christine B. supports people facing cancer through medically tailored groceries, produce programs, and oncology dietitian support.

We’re so proud to celebrate Kathleen Moneghan on being recognized as a 2026 Mainebiz 40 Under 40 honoree! This recognition is incredibly well deserved, and the entire CBF team is excited to celebrate all that Kathleen has accomplished.

Kathleen’s leadership has been part of CBF’s story from the early days, from volunteering to deliver medically tailored groceries throughout Piscataquis County to investing in our future as a dedicated member of our Board of Directors.

What a ride! 💗🏍️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, rode, rallied, decorated, volunteered, donated, and helped make today’s Ride for a Cure such an incredible celebration of community and cancer support!

What started with a handful of riders has grown into something truly special—and CBF is honored to be a recipient of funds raised through this event.

Every mile, every dollar, and every pink-decorated ATV helps make a difference for Maine families facing cancer.

We’re so grateful to Ride for a Cure for continuing to turn a love of riding into an opportunity to make an impact. 💗

🌱 Nourishing healthier communities across Maine.

CBF Executive Director Matt Dexter, Community Engagement & Program Coordinator Ben Wyman, and Board Treasurer Kathleen Moneghan were proud to represent the Christine B. Foundation at the Maine Public Health Association Nourish to Flourish conference.

A special thank you to MPHA for inviting us to present alongside our research partners from the Yale School of Public Health. Together, we shared the Nourishing Hope trial, which evaluates the benefits of medically tailored groceries and nutrition support for cancer patients and survivors receiving care through Northern Light Health.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring this work to a broader public health audience and to collaborate with researchers, healthcare providers, community leaders, and other partners working to make nutrition an integrated part of cancer care.

A big thank you to the team at BerryDunn for hosting a great Lunch & Learn yesterday on volunteerism, committee engagement, and board service! 🙌

We’re grateful for their commitment to employee development and community engagement. 💙 While some staff learned for the first time the opportunities of working with nonprofits, others shared their deep nonprofit experiences with the team.

CBF Executive Director Matt Dexter introduced opportunities to serve within the organization and highlighted other valuable resources like Maine Association of Nonprofits and Heart of Maine United Way to explore missions meaningful to them.🙌

🍃 A new leaf. A lasting impact. ❤️

Today, celebrating his birthday, we’re honored to add a new leaf to the Christine B. Foundation Tribute Tree recognizing Dorian D. Max Pillsbury!

For many years, Dorian has supported families facing cancer through food drives, delivering medically tailored groceries, service days, and so much more. His generosity makes an immediate difference and inspires others to do the same.

This leaf is a small symbol of the deep gratitude for the time, heart, and kindness Dorian has given to our mission and the people we serve. We’re honored to have it on the tree.
