We strive to help our new neighbors meet basic needs, access essential services, find social supports, and experience a warm welcome to our shared community. WIN-Bangor connects international immigrants with mentors in the local community. WIN-Bangor has mentors who can speak an array of languages. WIN-Bangor looks to provide important assistance, but it also strives to make international immigrants feel welcome in the greater Bangor area. WIN-Bangor organizes activities in the community which brings local people and international immigrants together. In the past, WIN-Bangor has arranged events such as dinners, birthday parties, and even a tamale baking party. WIN-Bangor will keep helping international immigrants in the greater Bangor area.
