For our last career exploration activity of the school year, we had the pleasure of learning from former Teen Director and small business owner, Hannah Joy!!

We had so much fun exploring brown woods and getting experience both behind and in front of the camera! Thank you, Mama Media!!📸✨

We had such an awesome time yesterday afternoon with FOX ABC Maine!! During our time we we had the pleasure of touring offices, the control room, and the news room. We also viewed a recent promotional video and a live taping on an interview.

At the BGCB Teen Center one of our goals is that all youth graduate high school with life skills and a plan for their future. We’re here to help!!
Over April break, we had the pleasure of taking our high school members on college tours where they got to speak to students and professors in an intimate and engaging setting.

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Kevin Hamel Music to the Teen Center! We have some very expressive teens with a lot of interest in music and performing arts, so a local musician sharing his story was a great experience!!

Career exploration continued with our middle schoolers yesterday with an awesome visit from Liam Reading!! If you don’t know Liam, he is a local artist who owns a tattoo shop and is responsible for several murals around Bangor (and the world)!! These Teens continue to show passion for art and creativity, and this experience opened the door of possibilities to show them that they can really do ANYTHING!!
