When there’s a need, there is a Lion! People ask why we work the fireworks stand every season, well the profits we earn and use for community needs is a main reason! But honestly we have a great time together, we eat amazing foods and have a great bonding time! We may have not known each other, but we soon become friends not only as Lions but some life long ones.

What wonderful Lions meeting we had tonight! Lions Club of Bandera was truly blessed to be able to give:

$500 Faithful Recovery
$500 Kase Riley - Jr World Rodeo Finalist
$350 Local family in need of assistance
$640 Helping Hand Food baskets for the Holidays

We also honored Lions Joan and Lewis Boyle, these charter members are always a phone call away and literally answer our calls for help, it doesn’t matter if for Fireworks stand, Food Bank help, they are always helping their community. We are proud to call them Lions and they truly do have a servant’s heart ❤️.

Just received word from Hill Country Samaritans that Back to School Bash date has been postponed!

EVENT POSTPONED due to weather. Back to School Bash has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 3, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Please help us spread the word! We have hundreds of backpacks and supplies to distribute on August 3rd!

Remember to register for school before the Bash to receive a backpack.
