Just a reminder if you didn’t make yesterday’s league meeting, there will be NO MORE weekly meetings. The library is still looking for a volunteer to take over as league leader, if you know anyone interested please let them know.

Figured I would post some Pokémon news cause we got big news with Worlds having concluded yesterday.

3: We have an animated Pokémon movie featuring the Pokémon TCG coming out soon! It will follow a guy and a Mimikyu, that’s all we know. This is the first time a movie about the trading cards has been made, only other times was a mini-web series on YouTube. Pokemon has just announced Worlds 2027 will be held in Singapore from August 13th to 15th! Ticket dates and venue details have not been announced at this

Hey everyone, WE WILL be having our last league meeting this Monday, the 31st. From 4:30pm to 6pm as always.

UPDATE: I, the league leader, actually found a job in Comfort. So our last meeting will be August 31st instead. Sorry, if anyone wants to take up the league leading position, it’s still available. We will still leave the page up, but it will no longer have any posted updates (We will most likely post Pokémon news still), unless I can run a “small Pokémon event” during a lot of free time, like in the summer, but that’s me being hopeful.

Hey everyone, we will have Pokémon league this Monday, same meeting place and times as always.

In the meantime, the Pokémon World Championships are happening this Month! Plus you can watch the event live through streaming platforms!! The reason why the Pokémon World Championships matter is because it is the highest tournament, if you win this tournament, you are the best in the world, no question. That’s why the event is an invite only and has big prizes at stake, apparently the prize pool for all divisions is worth $2,000,000 altogether is what Google told me.

AT LOWES IN BANDERA!!! They are $6.99 per pack, a huge steal since these packs go for $10-$11 on websites like TCGplayer.

UPDATE: After looking at calendars and schedules, I have decided our last league meetup will be December 28th.

I still have not had anyone ask me to take over leading the league when I leave. So that position of league leader for the Bandera Pokémon league is still available.
