Just a reminder if you didn’t make yesterday’s league meeting, there will be NO MORE weekly meetings. The library is still looking for a volunteer to take over as league leader, if you know anyone interested please let them know.

And that’s all I got, will be posting Pokémon news and un-opening TCG products (Might be Pokémon, might be another TCG) if I decided to pick up anything. Y’all have a great week.

Figured I would post some Pokémon news cause we got big news with Worlds having concluded yesterday.

1: Next year’s Worlds will be in Singapore: https://www.pokebeach.com/2026/08/pokemon-worlds-2027-to-be-held-in-singapore

2: We will be having a new card type next year: Pokemon ex★, no info on this new card type has been released yet, news link: https://www.pokebeach.com/2026/08/upcoming-pokemon-ex★-tcg-series-teased

3: We have an animated Pokémon movie featuring the Pokémon TCG coming out soon! It will follow a guy and a Mimikyu, that’s all we know. This is the first time a movie about the trading cards has been made, only other times was a mini-web series on YouTube. Pokemon has just announced Worlds 2027 will be held in Singapore from August 13th to 15th! Ticket dates and venue details have not been announced at this

UPDATE: I, the league leader, actually found a job in Comfort. So our last meeting will be August 31st instead. Sorry, if anyone wants to take up the league leading position, it’s still available. We will still leave the page up, but it will no longer have any posted updates (We will most likely post Pokémon news still), unless I can run a “small Pokémon event” during a lot of free time, like in the summer, but that’s me being hopeful.

For anyone looking for a new league home or resources, please look at our pinned posts for helpful info.

Hey everyone, we will have Pokémon league this Monday, same meeting place and times as always.

In the meantime, the Pokémon World Championships are happening this Month! Plus you can watch the event live through streaming platforms!! The reason why the Pokémon World Championships matter is because it is the highest tournament, if you win this tournament, you are the best in the world, no question. That’s why the event is an invite only and has big prizes at stake, apparently the prize pool for all divisions is worth $2,000,000 altogether is what Google told me.

Here’s the event’s official website as well: https://worlds.pokemon.com/en-us

AT LOWES IN BANDERA!!! They are $6.99 per pack, a huge steal since these packs go for $10-$11 on websites like TCGplayer.

Grab them while you can! ^__^
