The Durand Railroad Days Royalty Committee announces the 19th annual Princess Competition sponsored by The Bancroft Lioness Lions Club. Vying for this year’s title of Durand Railroad Days Princess is Brooklyn Barnes, Rosalie Aldrich, Lucille Wirebaugh, and Amira Herrick. The contestants will place a personalized canister in her sponsoring business for the collection of votes. Voting will run from March 6th-20th. Each cent collected in the contestant’s canister will equal one vote. The money raised will be used by the Bancroft Lioness Lions Club to help the Bancroft/Durand community. The winning contestant will receive a crown, sash, and will also receive a $100 scholarship courtesy of The Bancroft Lioness Lions Club.

The Bancroft Cubbies visited the Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center to spread some christmas cheer and drop off some mini Christmas trees for the residents that the Cubs and Shiawassee Leo’s decorated during one of their recent meetings.

Three carloads of food and a check for Durand Loaves and Fishes picked up today from Bertha Neal kiddos and staff. All delivered to Durand Loaves and Fishes by the Bancroft Lioness Lions Club. Thank you all for your generosity.
