PCC traveled to Marion County this week to increase technology skills and access to online resources such as telehealth.

We are grateful for the support of the Marion County Adult Education Center for the training space, promotion, and hospitality. We are also grateful for our partnership with the South Carolina Telehealth Alliance to increase digital navigation in the communities we serve.

We are grateful for our partnership with Southeastern Housing and Community Development!

Palmetto Care Connections is proud to partner with Southeastern Housing and Community Development to bring affordable, reliable internet access and telehealth services to residents of Estill Village Apartments in Hampton County.

Through PCC's Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP), residents will receive free internet service, while Southeastern will provide connected devices through grant funding. Together, we're helping bridge the digital divide by expanding access to healthcare, education, benefits, and other essential services.

Palmetto Care Connections congratulates Dr. Robert Bank on receiving the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina’s highest civilian honor.

We were honored to recognize Dr. Bank at the 2024 South Carolina Telehealth Summit with the Telehealth Pioneer Award for his visionary leadership and longstanding commitment to expanding access to care across our state.

Congratulations, Dr. Bank, on this well-deserved honor and thank you for your continued service and leadership.

Governor Henry D. McMaster presented BHDD OMH Director Robert Bank, MD, with the Order of the Palmetto, the highest civilian honor in the State of South Carolina.

First awarded in 1971 by Governor John C. West, it recognizes a person’s lifetime achievements and contributions to the State of South Carolina.

Governor McMaster bestowed this honor upon Dr. Bank in recognition of his 50 years of service in and contributions to the field of mental health and his dedication to the citizens of our state.

It's graduation season! Thank you to Victory Harvest Church for hosting our Digital Literacy Training in Lake City, SC, today. We are always ready to share fun, meaningful, and safe ways to connect using technology. With funding from the South Carolina Telehealth Alliance, we are able to spread telehealth awareness and increase technology skills, device ownership, and internet connections in the community.
