Our Chapter earned first place in the Eastern Region, advancing to the National Level, where we received second place in the Colegate Community Impact Award competition during the Continental Societies, Inc. 70th Conclave. This recognition reflects our Chapter's unwavering commitment to serving our community and creating meaningful, lasting impact through our programs and initiatives. We are honored to have our efforts recognized on the national stage and remain dedicated to continuing our mission of excellence and service to our children who are our commitment and our concern.

It was a wonderful night as the Continentals came together to celebrated 70 Years of service to children and youth who are our commitment, our concern and our future.

Today, members of the Continental Societies, Inc. ® from around the country carried out our Service Project in support of Menchville House, which is the only family emergency shelter in Newport News, VA dedicated specifically to serving all configurations of homeless families. Members prepared and assembled personal care items for children, youth, and mothers, helping to provide comfort, dignity, and support to families during times of need. Members also wrote encouraging notes to place in each gift. Through this meaningful act of service, the organization continues its commitment to uplifting and empowering communities and families in need.

The Southeastern Howard Laurel Chapter is excited to be recognized as an award-winning chapter at the National Continental Societies, Inc. Conclave as we celebrate 70 years of serving children and youth.
We are honored to have received First Place in the Eastern Region for our outstanding community impact on children and youth, along with a stipend to further support our community engagement efforts. Building on that success, our chapter advanced to the national competition, where we earned Second Place in an exceptionally competitive field and received an additional stipend.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our sisters of the Southeastern Region College Part – East Point Chapter in Georgia for earning First Place at the national level. We celebrate their achievement, as well as the remarkable work of our sisters across all four regions who continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underserved children and youth.
Together, we remain committed to advancing our mission of service and creating lasting opportunities for the children and youth in our communities.
