2026 marks a major milestone — 150 years of unity and legacy.

On September 12, 1876, the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge of Maryland and the Most Worshipful First Colored Grand Lodge of Maryland merged to form what we now know as the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Maryland.
To honor that history, a limited 150th Anniversary Challenge Coin is now available.

Important: Coins will NOT be mailed. They must be picked up at the Grand Lodge or at an official Grand Lodge event.
This is a simple way to own a piece of Maryland Prince Hall history and commemorate the union that shaped the jurisdiction.

From The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Maryland, this 100th observance of Black History Month stands as a powerful call to honor legacy and leadership.

We pay tribute to the giants who came before us—men of vision, discipline, courage, and unwavering resolve—whose sacrifices laid the foundation for progress, justice, and brotherhood. Their work was not in vain.

At the same time, we recognize that Black history is still being forged today by men and women who are building, leading, protecting, and elevating our communities. In this moment, it is imperative that we uplift today’s achievers with the same pride and purpose with which we honor our forefathers.
Strength. Excellence. Continuity.

The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Maryland remains steadfast in honoring our past, standing firm in our present, and shaping a future rooted in unity, accountability, and Black excellence.

Tonight is the Wheelbarrow of Cheer Raffle!! Come out and have a drink with the Brothers of Friendship Lodge # 1. The drawing is at 8pm. We still have more raffle tickets that must be sold so come early and purchase some tickets. Tickets are only $5.00. We ALL look forward to seeing you and we THANK YOU for your support!!
