Carmelo Castle, an 18-year-old from Woodville High School in Texas, made history in May 2025 by becoming the first high school student in the state to complete a four-year plumbing program and pass the state licensing exam. Trained under instructor John Bunker, he transitioned straight into the workforce after graduation as a second-year tradesman with Local 68 Plumbing.🔧🎓

We gotta get back to the basics and teach our children to stand FIRM no matter what they make law, make acceptable or allow on main stream media. In our houses we should be instilling foundational principles BEFORE our young men are allowed to go out into the world alone.

Booker T. Washington students recently competed in their first MathCounts competition, marking a milestone for the school’s MathCounts Team. Accompanied by Coach Arbuckle, the team participated in the event at McDonogh School, where students applied problem-solving skills in a competitive academic setting.

It is very important that in this particular climate our young men and women learn skills that can NOT be immutable by AI and Robots as well as the teaches self sufficientcy and sustainability on and off a J.O.B. We are creators, inventors and artist from birth, let's NOT allow that to die. When the banks and builders denied our ancestors they BUILT their own homes.

1️⃣ - Log in to your YouthWorks account
2️⃣ - Schedule an in-person application support appointment
3️⃣ - Come to your appointment with the required documents

In-person help is available from 9am to 3pm on:
• Saturday, February 14, 21, & 28
• Saturday, March 7

What to bring:
· Proof of ID (school report card/record, MD ID, permit, or license)
AND
· Proof of work authorization (birth certificate, Social Security card, or U.S. Citizen Card)

OR one document that covers both:
· Passport
· Permanent Resident Card
· Employment Authorization Document
