See you at rat club 🐀

All breeds welcomed, any dog can benefit from our barn hunt practice sessions. Each week brings a new course, challenge, drills, all levels welcomed from never having tried it to a seasoned competitor.

By far my favorite group class that we have done to date. These dogs came in after 3 months off and after their first run were precise with their alerts ‼️ and reallllly starting to enjoy the game. Added bonus they went home fulfilled and content, ready to nap! 😴

Now in store with big savings!

Natural flea and tick prevention is something I’m passionate about after hearing of do may dogs having adverse reactions to topical and oral treatments. Wondercide has done wonders for our dogs on hikes in the woods and through fields to prevent ticks from latching on!

We have used ultra oil for quite some time for both our boarding dogs and our personal dogs to give them a boost when it comes to a shinier coat, combating dry skin and providing joint support.

Don’t forget to shop small 💕 oftentimes we have better pricing than the big box stores!

It’s been very Labby over here recently… it’s like lab and puppy palooza the past few weeks!

I guess now is a good time to roll out our puppy head start program 🙃 oh and we will be offering a HUGE day camp discount for the summer as well. 😬 more on these things this week!

Going to clue you in on a little secret … part of the reason you can’t keep your dog engaged during play is that you have taught them that this is part of the game. That long random pauses and choosing to engage with other stimuli is acceptable and more rewarding than what you are doing.

Teaching your dog how to properly play and engage with you from the jump is the key to setting your relationship up for long term success and enjoyment.

I think I’ll finallllllllyyyy edit Tuckers “transformation” video now that he’s staying with us for boarding this week.

Stay tuned because this one was a DOOZY and probably my biggest accomplishment of 2025 from a behavior modification stand point. Is he perfect? No. But it’s never been about perfection, it’s about improving the mental well being of the dog in front of me. We did that for him and then some. Stay tuned….

My new series, meet our trainees.

You see their photos and videos on our stories but I feel like it can be difficult to know where they started, which program they are enrolled in and how that can relate to you and your dog.

Soooo introducing .. Meet The Trainees! A little stat card if you would so that you know who you’re looking at every week on our stories. I have a LOT of dogs to introduce to you so I’ll try to do 5 trainees a week to catch up and have you up to speed. Many of you know these faces and some even know the dogs in person!

It can be encouraging for others to know where these dogs started and that the highlight reels we post of them were not always the case. We all have to start somewhere! Each dog and owner is different and needs a different program to set them up for success and achieve the goals they have.

Have you seen a cuter pittie boy? I’m obsessed with this big beefcake.

He actually started as just a play date social guy, turned into a day camper, then a boarding client and now he’s doing training for his reactivity on leash. He is a ray of sunshine ☀️ and we love having him come and visit with us every week! Now I get two doses of his sweet meatball head every week 💕 with his camp day and his 1:1 sessions on Fridays at our fed hill location.

He’s a really fun guy to work with and loves his belly slides and b***y scratches.
