Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street is a volunteer-driven, diverse community of businesses and residents who work together to create a thriving Harford Road Corridor in Lauraville and Hamilton. HLMS is a Baltimore City Main Street program and follows the National Main Street's economic development model. We help promote the businesses on the Main Street, assist merchants with goals such as creating bu

siness plans, finding available properties, and understanding market demographic information, as well as apply for the City's facade grant program, which helps businesses make improvements that attract more customers to their shops. HLMS is also a partner of the Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative (HNI) program targeting investments and stabilizing middle neighborhoods. HLMS provides quality of life experiences that retain residents and attract new neighbors, and create opportunities for businesses, the lifeblood of the community. Volunteers help us make Lauraville and Hamilton a great place to work, live, and play. We need and welcome all forms of help: your time, talents, ideas, suggestions, and enthusiasm! This week is our Third Thursday FESTIVAL Market, which means Main Street Market transforms into a neighborhood-wide FESTIVAL!

Join us Thursday, July 16, from 5–7:30 PM at THE LOT @ 4500 Harford Road for an evening of local shopping, live music, great food, and community.

Shop fresh produce, honey, handmade goods, cornbread, jam, hot ready-to-eat dinners, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and plenty more from a stellar lineup of local vendors.

FESTIVAL Highlights:
• Free Culinary Arts / Step Dance Class with Moving History (ages 5+) 5:15–6 PM
• Non profit kid’s toy swap 
• Live music from To The Moon & The Shaky Experience 5-7:30PM

Make a night of it! Wander the Harford Road corridor, where neighborhood businesses will be open late with happy hours, special programming, local artisan pop-ups, and more. Spend your Thursday evening supporting local and enjoying everything our community has to offer.

Join us Thursday, June 18, as Main Street Market returns to THE LOT at 4500 Harford Rd for our Juneteenth Festival Market — an evening honoring Black history, culture, creativity, and community while celebrating the incredible local artists, makers, businesses, and neighbors who make Northeast Baltimore so vibrant.

This is one of our biggest and most interactive markets of the season, featuring an exciting mix of local food and drink vendors, coffee, sweet treats, artists, handmade goods, and unique finds. Throughout the evening, enjoy free community experiences including a kids’ toy swap, acupuncture, dance classes, live ballet performances, and live music that will keep the energy flowing all night long.

Make a night of it and explore Hamilton-Lauraville, where Main Street Harford Road businesses will be open late with pop-ups, specials, drinks, treats, and surprises. Very sorry to say we have to cancel tonight’s mini market due to storm predictions.

Civic Works will still have CSA pick up until 6pm if you’re available, but contact them to arrange an alternate if you cant catch them tonight.

Heart in Hand Bread is doing porch pick up, head to their profile for info!
