40 West Assistance & Referral Center Since 1993 our mission has been to provide material assistance and referral services to people in our community requesting help.

Receiving services
Anyone who needs food may come once per month with ID, but you may present DSS emergency food vouchers anytime. If you need rent or utility aid and if you live in Baltimore City zip code 21207 or 21229, once per year you may bring your photo ID and either your district court eviction notice or your BGE turn off notice.
