Founded by Ugandan human rights defender, Victor Mukasa, this foundation is rooted in lived truth, radical resilience, and a deep commitment to LGBTQ+ liberation across Africa and the diaspora.
From surviving persecution and winning a landmark court case in Uganda, to raising a child while navigating exile, Victor’s journey fuels everything we do; centering healing, justice, and power for q***r communities.
We house three transformative projects:
*The Victor Mukasa Show – A storytelling platform amplifying q***r African voices and documenting our lived histories.
*Qola Project – Driving economic empowerment through entrepreneurship, education, and access to capital for q***r Africans.
*Hope Upheld – Supporting African Q***r refugees through safety advocacy, emergency response, and care.
