Are you going to Philmont? Enjoy backcountry camping but need some pointers to make the experience more fun? Want a lighter pack without breaking the bank? I have a Scout course for you!
I'd say it's the Bestest Course in ALL of Scoutingdom! and it's called Eaglesnest.
It's a course all about backpacking and backcountry camping. You will learn how to eat well in the woods on food purchased at Walmart and the dollar store. We will teach you how to get water from a creek without getting sick from it. We will even teach you to tie your boots better for more miles on the trail in comfort, and of course we will go over the proper way to poo in the woods.
If this sounds like what you want to learn about and experience in a safe environment, from people that know backpacking, this is your course!

Huge thanks to Clay R. the other Scouts and Scouters of Troop 124 for representing our District at last nights Baltimore County Council meeting! This is a great tradition and a great opportunity to showcase the wonderful things Scouting does for throughout our County!

Had a great week at Camp Northwind last week! Our Cubs had the chance to learn a lot of new skills, enjoy the outdoors, and have a blast while doing it!

Huge thanks to Baltimore County Game and Fish Protective Association for hosting us once again, can't wait to be back next year!

Had great weather over the weekend for this year's annual First Aid Rally at Baltimore County Game and Fish Protective Association! Huge thanks the folks from the Baltimore County Fire Department for showing off some of your equipment and teaching Scouts about what you all do to keep our community safe!
