Year 2 of our Sports-Themed Spelling Bee was a MOVIE 🏆📚🔥

Tunbridge Public Charter School came out strong and took the first 2 rounds of the May Madness Spelling Bee, but the host team Harford Heights Elementary School locked in and won the Finals MVP round 😮‍💨

The energy was INTENSE all night. Competition, teamwork, confidence, pressure, bounce backs… everything we wanted these young leaders to experience. Proud of every scholar that stepped up to the mic!

Special thanks to all of our volunteers , parents , school faculty, & LB family for helping to make this event a success. Can’t wait to run it back next year 👏🏽🏀📚

Flashback to how we spent our Spring Break:

To kick it off, we took 20 young leaders down to tour and , showing them college life, meeting students and athletes, and making memories beyond Baltimore!

Towards the end of the week, we took 14 boys to the Big Apple! From hooping in NYC to touring and soaking in the sights, our leaders got a taste of something bigger!

Our Bmore Active League is unfortunately coming to an end. BUT we’re going out with a BANG as our elementary hoopers face off in playoffs and our very first All Star Game!

Before Women’s Month ends, we want to THANK EVERYONE who made our Second Leading Ladies of Baltimore women’s empowerment event possible!!

We were able to create a space where everyone in the room was vulnerable enough to share their truth, be seen, and walk away feeling more empowered than they came in! 🤏🏾
