The Greater Baltimore Urban League movement was founded in 1924. Ever since then, through direct service delivery, advocacy, referrals, community capacity building, information dissemination and technical assistance, the League

β˜•βœ¨ Two for Tea 2026 was more than a gathering, it was a celebration of legacy, community, and continued purpose.

Held in the tradition of honoring NCNW founder Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune and President Emerita Dr. Dorothy Irene Height, this annual event brings together women who are committed to uplifting Baltimore’s African American community through education, advocacy, and service.

The Greater Baltimore Urban League is proud to stand alongside our partners at because the work of building a stronger Baltimore takes all of us.

Every cup raised, every conversation shared, every dollar contributed goes directly back to the community we love. πŸ’œ

GBUL was proud to be represented at GBS-NCNW's Empowerment Fair at Lexington Market, where Interim President & CEO Tershea Rice and Coby Smith, President of GBLA Young Professionals, joined community leaders on a panel focused on health and wellness, education, economic empowerment, and social justice.

Events like this: free, accessible, and rooted in civic engagement, reflect the work we're committed to every day.

πŸ“–βœŠπŸΎ You're invited to something special.

Join us for the book launch of INCREMENTAL EQUALITY by Nolan V. Rollins, a sweeping multigenerational novel tracing one Black American family from pre-colonial Africa to the present day, exploring how laws, policies, and political decisions shaped their lives across centuries.

This isn't just a book. It's a reckoning with history, and a vision for what's possible.

Why has equality in America so often arrived in increments rather than as a fulfilled promise?

Join us for a book talk, panel discussion, book signing & networking. A portion of proceeds benefits the Greater Baltimore Urban League.

Interim President & CEO Tershea Rice recently joined the American Red Cross & LMI for their Women in Leadership event, an inspiring gathering of bold, purpose-driven leaders.

Panelists championed servant leadership, intentional investment in communities, and holding ourselves accountable to the commitments we make.

These principles are at the heart of everything we do at the Greater Baltimore Urban League.

When leaders serve with integrity, communities thrive. 🌟
