The Greater Baltimore Urban League, Inc. is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, multi-ethnic, social service organization affiliated with The National Urban League.

The Greater Baltimore Urban League movement was founded in 1924. Ever since then, through direct service delivery, advocacy, referrals, community capacity building, information dissemination and technical assistance, the League
has been helping disadvantaged Marylanders gain access to equal opportunity in employment, education, health care, housing and the civic arena.

Mental health is more than a personal issue—it is a community priority. When individuals and families have access to the support, resources, and care they need, our communities become stronger.

The Greater Baltimore Urban League continues to take voter education and civic engagement directly into our communities.

We were grateful for the opportunity to visit 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 to have an important conversation about voting, what is at stake for our communities, the challenges surrounding voting rights and access, and—most importantly—what each of us can do.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Pastor Alan-Michael Carter and the entire Grace Baptist Church congregation for opening their doors and creating space for this critical conversation.

At GBUL, our work is nonpartisan. We do not tell people who to vote for. We work to make sure our communities understand their rights, understand the issues, have access to trusted information, and are prepared to make their own voices heard at the ballot box.

Democracy works best when every eligible voter has the information, access, and opportunity to participate.

The Greater Baltimore Urban League’s Restaurant Accelerator Program (RAP) Culinary Tasting was a SUCCESS!

After weeks of learning, growing, and strengthening their businesses, our RAP Cohort 6 entrepreneurs had the opportunity to showcase their talents, share their incredible food, build meaningful connections, and celebrate how far they’ve come.

From the flavors to the fellowship, this evening was about more than great food—it was about entrepreneurship, opportunity, and economic mobility in Baltimore. ❤️
