We are now just one week away from the competitor registration deadline for the 2026 Transplant Games. More than just a gathering, this is our time to come together in Denver from June 18th through the 23rd to celebrate the gift of life, honor the heroes who made it possible, and cherish every second chance.

This scholarship helps remove financial barriers so more members of the transplant community can participate in the Transplant Games of America.

Team Maryland is proud to share a meaningful opportunity for our community.

The Legacy in Motion Scholarship, created by The Decision Project, honors the lives and legacies of two incredible Team Maryland members, Emily Biondi and Michael Gahagan.

This scholarship helps remove financial barriers so more people can participate in the Transplant Games of America and share their stories.

Eligibility:
This scholarship opportunity is for individuals participating in the Transplant Games as part of Team Maryland. Applicants must have a connection to the transplant community (recipient, living donor, donor family member, or caregiver) and demonstrate financial need.

How to apply:
Post a public photo or video on Facebook sharing what participating in the Games means to you and tag Team Maryland
OR
Submit a written response (500 words or less) and photo to [email protected]

If you’re participating in the Transplant Games with Team Maryland, we encourage you to apply and share your story!
