🌡️If you were one of the 1,065 people who braved the heat to come to The Book Thing on Sunday, it was great to see you! It was our second highest visitor total since 2020, and we gave away over 16,000 books and magazines, with almost that many incoming donations. Thank you to our loyal community for continuing to show up with donations! You keep this whole organization running!

👉 Our next opening is Saturday, Sept 12. That's a long time to wait, though, especially if you missed us this weekend. If you need a book fix before then, check out some of the amazing independent bookstores throughout Baltimore (The City That Reads)!
