Two years of Dream Builders. ❤️

I could’ve written the typical anniversary post, but that wouldn’t tell the real story.

So instead, I wrote a letter to Dream Builders that’s raw, honest, and from my heart. The highs, the lows, the people, the lessons, the changes, and the decision about where we go from here.

Today, Dream Builders Foundation had the opportunity to connect with families and community members at the Wellness Bash at 29th Street Community Center! 💚

Community outreach is at the heart of what we do. Today was about bringing awareness, sharing resources, building relationships, and making sure families know support is available.

We also had the opportunity to spread the word about The Stability Project, our upcoming life-skills program designed to provide practical tools, resources, and support to help individuals build greater stability in their everyday lives.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, asked questions, shared their stories, and learned more about our work. Every conversation is another opportunity to build a stronger community. 🤝🏾💚

📣 THE STABILITY PROJECT IS COMING TO BALTIMORE THIS OCTOBER!

Dream Builders Foundation is preparing to kick off The Stability Project: Life After Reentry — an 8-week life skills workshop series created to help returning citizens and at-risk young adults 18+ build the skills needed to create and maintain stability.

📅 October 13 – Emotional Wellness & Stress Management
📅 October 20 – Communication & Healthy Relationships

🚨 The Stability Project – Registration Now Open!

Dream Builders Foundation is now accepting registrations for The Stability Project, an 8-week life skills and workforce readiness program for reentrants and at-risk young adults ages 18+.

📍 Location: Baltimore, MD 21218

🗓 Program Dates: October 1 – November 19, 2026
🕒 Schedule: One day a week evening classes with select Saturday morning sessions
🎓 Complete all 8 classes to earn a Certificate of Completion.

Participants will gain practical tools, valuable resources, and support to help build a more stable and successful future.

🚨 URGENT HOUSING NEEDED

We are seeking emergency temporary housing for a returning citizen being released on July 24. His home plan unexpectedly fell through, and he is currently without any financial resources. We are looking for a safe place for him to stay in Harrisburg or the surrounding areas.
