Join us for the launch of the Rooted in Trust Program (RIT)! The RIT Program will include community listening sessions, a steward leadership development program, a summer youth program, and the development of several neighborhood greening and public space activation project sites along York Road in Baltimore City with the goal of bridging divides across differences.
🌳🧑🧑🧒🧒Join us for two information sessions (All are welcome!!) Both will be held at 5104 York Road in the new Loyola Community Center (front middle section of larger building on the lot).
August 27th: 5:30 pm-7:00 pm
September 8th: 6:30 pm-8:00 pm
🏡🧑🧑🧒🧒We are also looking for residents interested in serving on the RIT Advisory Council. This the the overarching advisory group for the project. Applications are due September 15th. More information on the role of the council will be available at RIT information sessions!
The Rooted in Trust Program is a collaboration between Loyola University Maryland, the York Road Partnership, York Road Improvement District and the Govans-Boundary Parish United Methodist Church and is funded by the Alliance for Social Trust of the Aspen Institute and the Allstate Foundation.
