The Denizens Brewing Winter Cask Classis is back! Not a SPBW event, but we of course love and support this truly classic event. See the link below for more information on this February 28th event.

It wouldn't be a Winter Classic without some hockey, so there will also be a (friendly, perhaps heated rivalry) shoot-out competition in the brewery. Who’s gonna win this year?!

Tonight's (11/13) Lineup at Hysteria Taphouse in Pasadena:

Heavy Seas Beer Peg Leg cask, plus a "tap takeover" with Heavy Seas' Red Sky, Phantom Ship, Small Craft, and BPM Sour. Additionally, a special treat will be available-- “Steve’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Cider,” a collaborative venture involving Baughers Orchard, Brookeville Beer Farm, and (of course) Steve!

Ended up unbarreling "out of touch", It's a 5.8% oatmeal stout we released last July. Before packaging I put a portion of the beer into fresh McClintock Rye whiskey barrels. The quick dip in a barrels gave it really beautiful depth of flavor without overwhelming the fresh maltiness of the original batch. It think it'll be really nice on cask.
We're not running any food specials but the kitchen just got going a few months ago. We serve tex mex standards, I'm personally a big fan of the nachos.
