Meet Erinn and Dean Kolligian, our new Committee Members. 🎗️

As members of the lacrosse community, they understand the importance of coming together for something bigger than the game.

“Seeing our friends, and our children’s friends, go through the horrible reality of childhood cancer is gut wrenching. The lacrosse community is one giant family and we can use it to do good. To spread the word, earn the support, raise money for research, and put an end to childhood cancer.”

Meet Brayden, our LaCROSSe Out Cancer Warrior. 🥍

Brayden's family initially thought the pain in his left arm was a lacrosse injury. When it didn't get better, an MRI brought an unexpected diagnosis: Osteosarcoma.

Lacrosse has remained an important part of Brayden's life throughout treatment. His teammates have spent time with him, college and professional players and coaches have reached out, and at home, his brother still gets in goal so they can play together. Brayden has brought that same determination to his hospital stays, sometimes walking hundreds of laps around the floor while receiving treatment. 🥍🎗️

Brayden's team has found ways to show up for him beyond the field. Now we're inviting yours to show up, too.

Only 4% of the federal government’s pediatric cancer research budget is dedicated to developing lifesaving treatments for children with cancer - leaving a critical gap in pediatric cancer research funding.

Join us in welcoming our newest Ambassador, Sean McFadden. 🥍🎗️

Sean is a clinical research coordinator, working alongside pediatric oncology professionals at Brooke Army Medical Center. He has a strong passion for research and is a firm believer in the power of advocacy, awareness, and funding for pediatric cancer research.

Lacrosse is a huge part of Sean's family life, with him being involved in his local lacrosse community and both of his kids playing the sport. As an ambassador, he hopes to grow LaCROSSe Out Cancer's presence in Texas, bringing more players, teams, and families into the mission, all while spreading awareness of the importance of pediatric cancer research.

Congratulations to the BYULacrosse Alumni team for winning the IMLAX 30+ Men's Summer League Championship.

The team played a great game, repping their LaCROSSe Out Cancer jerseys and Alden Strong team shirts in honor of Alden, who was diagnosed with Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC) at 21 months old.

We are so grateful for the love and support this community continues to bring to Alden and his family. 💛🥍

This past weekend, 11-year-old pediatric cancer warrior AJ Perna got to live out an unforgettable Dyin’ 2 Live Dream at the PLL Championship.

AJ was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in May 2025. After five rounds of chemotherapy and months in the hospital, he finally went home shortly before Christmas — and has been cancer-free ever since. 💛

This spring, AJ returned to the lacrosse field with the same positivity, determination and fight that earned him the nickname “the kid who never quit.”

A special thank you to F**k Cancer and PLL Assists, AJ and his Rumson Fair Haven teammates spent an incredible day at the PLL Championship — taking the field, meeting PLL players and celebrating just how far AJ has come.

During Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, AJ is a powerful reminder of exactly why we keep showing up, raising funds and fighting for better treatments and cures for kids with cancer.

For AJ — and for every kid still in the fight. 💛🥍

We are excited to announce that Alex's Team Foundation, Inc. is Going Gold with us this September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! 🎗️💛
