Last Saturday was cold and rainy but it didn’t dampen the spirits of our neighbors and volunteers during our May pantry distribution! We served 87 families for a total of 317 individuals and welcomed 10 new families to our neighborhood. We know the moms and dads who attended appreciated their Mother’s and Father’s Day gift bags. And we were grateful that despite the holiday weekend, we had 49 volunteers on hand to serve our neighbors.

Our April pantry distribution was great last Saturday! We welcomed 115 neighbor families into our doors—including 21 new families—and were able to feed 400 people total! We were also very grateful to have over 50 volunteers on hand for setup, distro, and cleanup. Please donate your time, talents, or treasure to your local food pantry - you’ll get so much more in return!

We had a fantastic Bingo and Spaghetti dinner today! Our volunteers had been hard at work for days before to get everything ready for our guests. These fundraisers are crucial for us to keep serving our neighbors and we are so grateful to all who attended and who made the day so special ❤️

Saturday was an excellent distribution day at Benedict’s Pantry! We served 147 families for a total of 407 people! We also welcomed 16 new families to our beloved neighborhood and are excited to welcome Ballet After Dark as an excellent resource for girls in our neighborhood this summer. Finally we want to thank all our dedicated volunteers and all those who donated cleaning supplies. You helped our neighbors spring into cleaning and we appreciate you 🤗

Spring is here! And just a few days left to donate spring cleaning supplies to our Benedict’s Pantry neighbors. Please donate any supplies by March 27 so we can provide them to our community at our March 28 distribution. Thank you for your kindness to our community ☺️

As we get ready to do a little spring cleaning at our homes, please help our neighbors at Benedict’s Pantry by donating cleaning supplies. Paper towels, cleaners, buckets, sponges, gloves, and more would go a long way to helping our neighbors make a fresh start. Our next distribution is March 28 so please contact us before March 27 if you have some supplies to donate. Thank you 🙏🏻

Last Saturday we had a wonderful pantry distribution! We served 119 families for a total of 419 people and welcomed 9 new families to our neighborhood. Afterwards we had a lunch to thank our volunteers - 56 and counting - for their hard work this past year to keep us going and serving our neighbors. Last year we served 1,359 families for a total of 4,514 neighbors, while expanding our services and welcoming an additional 245 families to our neighborhood. We love our neighborhood and neighbors and appreciate all those who donate their time, talents, and treasure. Please support us as you can or your local food pantry and food bank.

We had a cold but wonderful pantry distribution yesterday! So glad the storm held off until the evening! Thanks to our dedicated volunteers we were able to serve 108 families for a total of 347 people! We also welcomed 35 new families to our community. Hope everyone is staying safe and warm tonight! Try to check on your neighbors if you can. We’re all in this together 🤗

Yesterday was a beautiful but cold day and we were blessed with many donations and volunteers to help us make the holidays a little warmer and brighter for our Neighbors! The kids and the kids at heart loved spending quality time with Santa and his elf. We were also fortunate to be joined by a group of lovely monks from St Vincent Archabbey and Seminary in Latrobe PA to help us serve our Neighbors in need. As we all return to our busy holiday festivities, please consider donating your time, talents, and treasures to your local food pantries.
