West Potter's Field Recognition Design Charrette: The Legacy Project
Initiated by NOMA 15 years ago, the Legacy Project allows conference attendees to contribute meaningfully to the host city by leaving a lasting impact. This year, in partnership with the Baltimore NOMA chapter, attendees will participate in a community-focused design charrette at the new South Baltimore Middle River Recreation Center. The charrette will center on West Potter's Fieldโ€”a former burial site in Cherry Hill, historically used for unknown or indigent individuals. Through this collaborative effort, participants will explore and conceptualize a memorial to honor the site's history and the lives of those interred. Our local chapter looks forward to continuing our engagement well beyond Conference!
