Southeast CDC is excited to announce a new position! We're hiring an Outreach Coordinator who will support our housing and neighborhood programs by recruiting residents to participate in our programs that increase homeownership and organizing block-based social events and beautification projects.

Looking to help out for the holidays? Support John Ruhrah families 🙂❄️

Many John Ruhrah families are facing housing instability, which greatly impacts student attendance, success, and overall well-being. Often these families spend most of their income on housing costs, so they don’t have much leftover to meet other needs. This holiday season, families need help to ensure students’ basic needs are met. Your support will go directly to food assistance and the purchase of jackets, winter gear, warm clothes, and other items requested by families facing hardship.

***Lower Herring Run Community Meeting/Reunión comunitaria de Lower Herring Run ***

Baltimore Recnparks is hosting a community discussion regarding the safety and use of Lower Herring Run Park.

City agencies will inform the public regarding the steps taken to secure the park and also gather information from the community regarding their wants and needs as it relates to recreating in the park.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 6 at 6:00 PM at the Herring Run Recreation Center located at 5001 Sinclair Lane, Baltimore, MD, 21206.
