Love and Honor Weekend is our new in-person event, full of tours of the greater Atlanta area. Bring the family for a fun weekend, catch up with your old college friends, or spend time networking with other Miami alums while learning about the ATL area.

Love and Honor Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, will be packed with cultural, social, and intellectual events that will connect Miami University alumni, faculty, and friends with one another and back to their alma mater. Including exclusive tours and excursions as well as diverse lectures and social events — all with a Miami angle — this new event from the Miami University Alumni Association will take place March 9-11, 2023. With topics ranging from art and gardens to civil rights and sports, the weekend will give us an opportunity to explore the rich story and vibrant beauty of Atlanta. We hope you’ll join us.

Virtual Goal Setting and Vision Board Workshop

It is never too late to start setting goals! Join the Miami University Alumni Association for a Goal Setting and Vision Board Workshop on Tuesday, March 15 at 7:00 pm ET. We will be guided by Miami friend, Dr. Philecia C. Avery, Founder & Principal of Philecia Dayle, LLC.

This 1.5 hour guided online workshop will help you to​ set goals and​ map out a clear vision and a focused strategic plan for yourself. This will help to give you a sense of where you currently are, where you want to go, a plan to get there and it helps to focus resources and energy.

Join fellow Baltimore Miamians at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10, at Captain James Crab House for all-you-can-eat medium-size steamed crabs! The event is a great, kid-friendly way to come together and celebrate one of Maryland's best traditions.

Cost will be $45 per person – tickets should be purchased online by September 24! All Miami alumni, friends, and family are invited to attend. Registration is required and is limited to the first 25 guests.

The following will be included with your ticket purchase:

-All-you-can-eat crabs
-Maryland crab soup
-Fresh steamed corn on the cob
-Pitchers of soda
-Children’s tickets (chicken fingers or cheeseburger) are available for $20 as well!

Captain James is located in Fells Point at the intersection of Aliceanna and Boston. Plenty of free parking available in Captain James’ parking lot across the street.
